The staff was friendly and basic hygiene was adequate (clean sheets and soft pillows). However, the sleep experience was poor: there was a lot of noise from the television at night. Regarding amenities, the private bathroom only had liquid hand soap; they didn't provide shampoo or other essentials. There were no towels upon arrival, and I had to request one, which, along with the blankets, was visibly worn. Information about the common areas was lacking, as they didn't show me if there was a kitchen or what additional services were offered. There's considerable room for improvement for the price.
The rooms were very high quality, very clean, and fully functional, with a large terrace for sunbathing. The jacuzzi was empty, but perhaps that was because the weather wasn't great. Maximiliano is very accommodating and friendly. One small drawback: early check-in wasn't possible despite arriving 4 hours early.
Had an amazing stay at Sarao Guesthouse. Rooms are big and clean, shower is hot. And more importantly the staff is very nice and helpful. 5 stars.
