Description
The tour departs at 3:00 AM to visit the salt flat, offering opportunities to observe stars and the zodiacal light. You will then see the mirror effect on the water and watch the sunrise over the flats. The tour includes wellies, water ponchos, transportation, and hot coffee.
During the rainy season (December to April), a thin layer of water covers the salt, turning the flat into the world’s largest natural mirror. This phenomenon reflects the entire sky, creating a visual effect where the boundary between earth and sky is nearly indistinguishable.
