Description

Day 1: Ruta del Sol - Puno -We will start the excursion by picking you up at your hotel to take you to the bus terminal in Cusco at approximately 6:30 am. -Our first stop will be the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas called the Sistine Chapel of America. -We will continue our excursion to the archaeological complex of Raqchi known as the temple of the god Wiracocha. -We will have a brief stop at a tourist restaurant La Pascana, then we will continue to the Paso de la Raya. -Finally we will visit the Lithic Museum of Pukara where we will find zoomorphic monoliths and anthropomorphic figures. Day 2: Uros - Amantani -We will start with the pick up at the hotel at approximately 7:30 am, we will transfer you to the port of Puno where we will embark on the motorboats. -We will travel to the floating island of the Uros, upon arrival we will enjoy a brief guided tour and learn about the local culture. -You will have free time to walk around part of the island and take pictures, then we will continue our trip to the island of Amantani. -You will enjoy a delicious lunch with a local family, in the afternoon we will meet to explore the upper part of the island where we will find the Pachatata Temple. -Finally we will return to the city of Puno, arrival time 5:00 pm.
