Description
Day 01: The bus to Uyuni will leave around 10:00 p.m. Day 02: Around 5:00 a.m. the next day, you will arrive in Uyuni, where our operator will be waiting for you to give you all the necessary instructions for the excursion. Afterwards, breakfast will be served. The adventure will begin at 10:30 am with a visit to the Salar de Uyuni, including a stop at the train cemetery, an open-air historical museum that exhibits the locomotives that once gave life to the city of Uyuni, located 1 km from the city. Continuing our tour, we will go to the town of Colchani, where salt is extracted. Here we will visit a salt refining microfactory, where you can see mounds and blocks of salt. We will also explore the local market, where you will find crafts made with salt, as well as llama or alpaca fiber fabrics. Next, you will enjoy a delicious lunch on Incahuasi Island, an amazing place in the middle of the vast salt flat, populated by giant cacti that reach more than 100 years of age. After lunch, you'll have time to explore the island and take spectacular photos from the top, with 360-degree views. Continuing our journey through the salt flat, we will reach the isolated area of Atulcha, which resembles a large island. Here you will find a small and famous hotel built with salt blocks, as well as furniture also made of this material. We will return to Uyuni, where you will have the rest of the afternoon free until the appointed time to board the bus back to La Paz. Day 03: Arrival in La Paz and end of tourIncludes
