Description

First Day (Mountain biking starts at 7:30 am) Point 1: It is a 22 km descent on an asphalt road. At the police checkpoint (after 45 min.), all visitors pay Bs. 50 for entry to the national park. This first section is for you to gain confidence and get used to the bike. Don't worry, the safety van always follows the group, and we have stops for water, photos, and bike checks. Point 2: 'Death Road' about 10 Km, always in a compact group (safety first!!!) and also snack time. Point 3: About 32 Km. It begins with a splashing waterfall!!! Finally, the end of the route is in Yolosa, so the next stop is at a hotel with showers, a pool, and also a buffet lunch. Approximately at 05:00 p.m., it's time to return to La Paz by driving on the new road. At the end of the 'Death Road Tour,' the guide will drop you off at the bus station so you can take your bus from La Paz to Uyuni. Bring your luggage because you won't be returning to your hotel. The bus departs at 9:00 p.m. Second Day (Arrive in the city of Uyuni at 7:30 a.m. and go to our office, located 1 block from the bus station) Free time to buy water, snacks, and use the restrooms. Begin your tour at 10:30 a.m., departing from the city of Uyuni towards the Salar de Uyuni (full-day tour) with a visit to the Uyuni 'train cemetery' to see Bolivia's first locomotives and take incredible photos. Next, visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miner workshops) and observe the salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca. Take photos as you navigate the vast white expanse of salt. Then, visit the 'Ojos de Agua Salada,' a hotel completely made of salt that is currently used as a museum, the island of the world's flags, and the famous Dakar Monument. Lunch will be served near 'Isla Incahuasi,' followed by time to take an excursion to the top of the island to see giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral. From the summit, admire the 360º view of the Salar de Uyuni. Take your time to organize your group for fun perspective and distorted proportion photos on the dazzling white surface of the salt flat. Then, head to a wide area to experience the unique sensation of watching a beautiful sunset over the salt flat while enjoying a glass of wine and some potato chips. Return to the city of Uyuni to our office at 7:00 p.m. Next, go to the Bus Station at 8:30 p.m., because your bus from Uyuni to La Paz departs at 9:00 p.m. Day Three (Arrive in the city of La Paz at 6:30 a.m.) The final point of the tour: La Paz City Bus Station
