Description

Day 01: Upon arrival in Cusco, you'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. You'll have the opportunity to acclimatize to the altitude with a cup of coca leaf tea. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a guided city tour, visiting key landmarks like the Qoricancha, La Catedral, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Day 02: After breakfast, you'll explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the Pisac Indian Artisan Market, Pisac ruins, and Ollantaytambo. You'll enjoy a buffet lunch at the best restaurant in Urubamba, 'Tunupa,' before taking the Expedition Peru Rail train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Day 03: This day is dedicated to exploring Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. You'll have a guided tour of the site, including the Main Plaza, the Solar Observatory, The Guardian's House, The House of the Inca, the Sacred Solar Clock, The Royal Quarters, The Temple of the Three Windows, and the Cemeteries. You'll also have the option to hike to Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu Mountain for panoramic views of the area. In the evening, you'll return to Cusco by train. Day 04: You'll embark on a tour of Lake Titicaca, visiting the floating islands of the Uros and Taquile Island, experiencing the local culture and traditions. Day 05: After breakfast, you'll travel by bus from Puno to Copacabana, enjoying stunning views of Lake Titicaca along the way. Upon arrival, you'll explore the southern part of Isla del Sol, visiting archaeological sites and enjoying the natural beauty of the island. Day 06: In Copacabana, you'll visit the Sanctuary of the Morena Virgin, the local fair, and ascend to Calvary for panoramic views. Later, you'll take a bus to La Paz, Bolivia's capital city. Day 07: You'll embark on a full-day tour of the Uyuni Salt Flats, visiting the Train Cemetery, the town of Colchani, the Playa Blanca hotel made entirely of salt, and Incahuasi Island (Fish Island) with its giant cacti. You'll spend the night in a basic tourist hostel in San Juan. Day 08: You'll visit the Ollague Volcano, the Stone Tree, Laguna Colorada, and Laguna Hedionda, experiencing the surreal landscapes of the area. Day 09: This day includes a visit to geysers, fumaroles, and a relaxing dip in the Polques Thermal Baths. You'll also visit Laguna Verde before returning to Uyuni. Day 10: You'll enjoy a city tour in La Paz, visiting key landmarks like Plaza Murillo, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Church of San Francisco, and the Valley of the Moon. Day 11: After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the La Paz airport for your departure.
